If there is a 8 GB dvd ISO file, but there aren't any 8 GB dvd's to burn them to, is ther any program a person can use to still shrink the ISO to 4 GB?
it's a DVD ISO movie file, but dvd shink doesn't "analyise" ISO files, only VOB and the other DVD files
I would second that, use Shrink, mount the ISO to a virtual drive and have Shrink "Shrink" it like it is a normal DVD. This will give you a 4.7GB File so you can burn it to a DVD+/-R(W) disk.
open dvd shrink, got to file, open disc image, browse to 8gig .iso, shrink, backup, job done no need to mount iso or change to .vob
damn... dvdshrink keeps saying it encountrered an error when i tried to opend image file... haha and i can't mount it to another drive cuz i have noomore space -__-
hi if its a dvd film structure inside open/extract it with ISOBUSTER or ULTRAISO you will then have vob/bup/ifo = nice! it sounds the size of a dvd9 so burn it to a dual layer 8.5 gig dvdr with dvd decrypter
cept that cost $5-6 a disc and gets expensive when you can easily fit a movie onto dvd-5 with miminal compression by removieg all the extra fluffing
Rotary is right. Use Isobuster to create the video files on your hard drive. Use dvd shrink to compress the files. Just use open files instead of dvd rom or player. Compress as necessary.
