How to Softmod with SID 4.0! Tells how to get on XBL too!

i downloaded the link but AR will say "it is not a valid xbox save"

Ok i got xbox live to work but how come when i had the softmod working it said it could not connect to my DNS?

Got a question.

A friend of mine wants me to softmod his xbox the same way I did mine. Problem is, he got his xbox used, and when I try to create MS Backup, it says that a softmod has already been installed and is aborting.

I looked on the E drive with SID 4.0 file explorer, and the only files are UDATA, TDATA, and CACHE....

Should I delete these?

HELP!

OKay i have a random question. The "X" "Y" and "Z" partitions on my xbox all have 749 MB of free space. Can i use these for anything like i do on my E partition? Also is there a way to combine these "partitions" to make one large 2247MB partition?

 

this tut isnt that hard to follow azzid did a great job just pay attention to what he said to do!

 

i never said anything bad about his tut. in fact yes i agree as i mentioned before its a great tut by him.

CT825 : the x y z are temp folders . you cannot edit these or tamper with them .

the C is the dashboard the D of course drive the E for personal stuff and apps etc etc. F if you have an upgrade hd or bigger hd the same with G

okay to upgrade my harddrive, i need a modchip and a bigger harddrive right? and doesnt the modchip need to have like thee hddswap-hack or something? or is there an easier way to upgrade my hardrivee? i really wanna do it i have xbmc and i love it and i want to have lots of dvds burned to my xbox .... know anything?

Hey guys! Just found this useful forum, Im in need of some help!! Basically been wanting an xbox for ages, Got one , Works ace with good drive. Did the Action reply game exploit, Used the Splinter Cell one and the Sid 4.5. Told it to do a Dual boot one, Where ones retail etc. Basically, Keeps telling me i need to set the time each time its turned on with lid shut, I tried what i read here doing it quick then turning it off, Doesnt get rid of it. Werid thing is, Backup copy loads fine! Putting in a DVD Brings me to EVOX Main menu (I thought that was suposed to come up staight away! :s).

Tuirning on with lid open tries to get me to Connect to Xbox Live! I have no idea why, Tried installing many times and still the same! Worried it will end up knackered! Anyone know what the problem is? Thx!

 

well if you notice that when you press open tray your circle led has turned from red to green .... so in other words powering it on via open tray is safe for xbox live .

power on normal and the led circle is red indicating the softmod is active.

pretty much set the time and date right quickly power off and power on ... if that doesnt work then go to clock on the ms dash set it then press and hold : left triger right triger black start and it should take you to evox or unleash x .... what ever you chose... change the time and date as well from there and save it and voila..

NOTE: this usualy happens after you unplug your xbox 3+hrs...

 

How can i add a .ppf file when i cant find the .map files?
