No Discussing Halo 2 modding! If I see anymore Halo 2 modding, I will get a member of staff involved because this has been taken too far, and you especially have been told before, so drop it now before it gets taken any further. if you get " unable to load linux" then your using a platinum edition of the game... use non platinum and check your saves check your mem card if its currpting it ..

i am just going to plain ignore q's about halo mods;... seriously make a " new thread" or look on " search" and reply ur q's there!

after the xbox is softmoded well you have ALOT of things... xbmc watch dvds w/o remote burn xbox games and play 'em off hard drive faster!!!1 no loading... xbox linux internet browsing... etc etc...

 

I agree with you fully gus, its not much point in repeating yourself about no halo modding when they cant read what others said in the first place.

As for the ones that ask about halo modding, Google it, its not hard to do, and it dont take a rocket scientist to find a site dedicated to halo modding, and if they are not there, theres a reason why. But reputable sites like this one who get visited by Microsoft alot will definatly NOT answer your question on how to mod halo or halo2 or any modding of any game for that matter.

If its not built into the original game dont ask, I cant get any more straight forward than that.

i.........um i burned the disc using this tutorial. first of all .... once you put aid 3 try lauching it . if it doesnt reconised it then you burned it to a cdr which most likely ur xbox drive doesnt reconise so burn it to a cdrw or dvdr peace


delete the pix i saw waht i needed to see. oh and i would install unleash x insted of evox evo is gay ... and the dash's always go on E on sid 4 and 4.5 system

 

gus that tutorial i showed u, i did, and its 1 gig! it wont fit on a cd. but ill try it! laters

 

Yeah, I have AID 3.0 on CD-R and it read on my xbox. I followed the tutorial which involved using AUF and using AR and used the game save. I there loaded mission etc. I made the AID on a CD-R and it read.

Anyway, I just modded my friends box with this tutorial and it worked but how do I go about putting apps like xbmc etc? I put in the AID disc (CD-R) and it didnt work so Ill try and use a DVD_R. But how do I install Linux on this xbox using this tutorial.....

 

you got me confused.....

in short if your xbox is unmodded AID will NOT work because its not hacked = no unsgied code allowed

xbox modded but not reading cd-r? then your xbox drive is a thompson and cdr wont work try dvdr

to install apps run aid 3 choose the app from the list and install the appt to E , F g depending on what you want.

want to update your softmod ? install the linux files from the advance section then back out and install ms dash to C ... or parimary dash , reboot and pop game and mod .

so when my xbox is modded, i get aid3 and it will give all sorts of apps. and skins etc....?
