How to Softmod with SID 4.0! Tells how to get on XBL too!

Yeah, I'll be fixing up my site tomorrow and then we'll edit this tutorial so that we have everything and the new files. BTW, do the new files work? You said there was something wrong with em but did you fix it? Anyways, let me know what to do. Drop me a PM on my site if you needed to get a hold of me quicker since I'm usually on my site.

please someone help me out here,and i would like to thnk azzid rain for the EASY site and tuts they rock it opened up like a whole new world of programs and crap so yeah i downloaded all the programs and things i need but i needed a wireless router so i bought one of ebay today for 12$ and yeah now all i need is my halo 2 to work on my x box so someone please help.

Then you need to get a backup that works. Maybe google it...there are people on the net that have uploaded their backups...and that hsould work just fine.

 

im about to try and mod my xbox so wish me luck! one question i downloaded the files from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RWXD35QL and i wanted to know, i opened up the rar file in a folder and it came up as Sid4.NK.Launcher is that the same file from the picture using the AR which says SID4 installer
install sid 4 ???

and i got the other SID4.NK.loader.splintercell.NTSC

You just dont copy it to your hdd. Its prolly too big for your hdd.

 

i was wondering how do you mod campaign files? before i modded i would just download profiles on halo with the AR. and they have some pretty sweet stuff on there. so yeah.

Rip the H2 disc to your computer and modify the maps from there, instead of putting the H2 disc to your xbox hdd, then ftp them to your computer.

Use craxtion to get the disc to your computer.

Do I need to have the single play shared map in with the files? Because I was using it to show my friend landfill right now and i was figuring that might be the problem.

hey, everytime i go to Create MS Backup, i get a message saying
"Batch Process Failed."

you needo to have a clean ms dash on C so that you dont get this error , so temporaly [bold]run linux again and ftp a CLEAN ms dash on C[/bold] and overwrite the ones there , IF YOUR power cuts out durring that time you will end up with error 21 or 13 or dash error

once you have ftp'd a clean dash just try to install the softmod

to get your ftp info once on linxu go to the settings network and alter ur ip . read my ftp tut if you need help under my sig
