on xbox-hq check the newbie fourms for a stickey fourm useful links then download the ms dash 5960 extract it and then transfer it ( recommend flashfxp) or if you have aid 3 on ur pc just move/transfer fiels but i take it you dont have aid 3 ....

 

Right now i am using SmartFTP.

 

nvm about the website I HAVE THE LATEST MS DASH 5960 Under my signiture , along with a ftp tut ... yea smart ftp sometimes has trouble just try out flashfxp u'll love it

 

ok i am downloading MS Dash 5690 right now. after i have finished downloading it, finished extracting it, and then how do i copy it to my xbox?

i dont understand wot u mean by run linux again. u mean restart mt xbox, start up splinter cell and then click linux.

 

lol sorry about this i am a bit of a dumbass when it comes to this kind of stuff. how do i overwrite my dash using FlashFXP.

 

it does it automatically man just try things out google stuff learn

 

im trying my best man lol. so all i do is just get file and drag it into FlashFXP

 

hey i took the MS DASH 5960 and dragged it into my C drive and im still getting this error. do you know why i am getting this?

 

ok say that fresh ms dash is on ur pc ur running linux and ftp program , from ftp program WIPE OUT EVERYthing in C then transfer the enitre ms dash content not the folder. Then restart and see if you can softmod it , if same error occurs then their is someting werid because you wiped out your C. You can delete your enitre E content except for you UDATA n TDATA

Remember wipe out everything in C then transfer the fresh ms dash to the C folder . reboot if that doesnt work then erase everything in E except UDATA and TDATA

 

never i have sorted it out. i am no longer gettin he error . thank you soo much for the help man. now back to the tutorial and continue to softmod.

 

now i having another problem lol. when i click on Install Softmod, i get the following error.
"Batch Process Failed"
"The Last Item was: ."
"Action: Rename"
whys this?

 

where did you get this installer? sounds like you have a bad one

 

from here. on the front page. i needed the pal version of splinter cell because im from UK.

because it was coded wrong , theirs more sid 4 on the net .... we are going to update it , but since you have pal box i would recommend going to xbox-hq.com and download aid 3 and it has sid 4.5 in there and use sid 4.5 .... same drill

 

any one know a site where to get mods from for halo 2?

 

so the codes on the first page are wrong or can they be used to mod with splinter cell??
