im sorry i didnt quite fellow but your saying you can have ftp acess but you cant transfer files from the xbox to the pc or from the pc to the xbox? yeah a crap load of great guides are made by us in http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/ for all your xbox needs

i cant seem to open the sid download its in my documents but its not a file it has to be opend with explorer is that how its supposed to be or did i do something wrong.

 

My Xbox won't let me create and MS backup. I need an earlier linux file of SID.

 

after i soft modded my xbox with sid 4.0 using mechassault, everything went fine no problems, now i want to add a 250 gig hard drive, so i copied the eeprom to my PC plus drives C and E and made the boot disk , but i noticed that if i read my eeprom with "LiveInfo" most of the feilds are all 0's (zeros), except my mac address , so i'm thinking i dont have the right eeprom , My question is how do i find or make the right eeprom cause without it i can't lock my 250 gig , and yes i tried using the eeprom i have and i get error code 6 , no go ,i also used Config magic and it gave me the locking code so i typed that code in manually to lock the drive and i still get error code 6 any ideas guys?

 

ummm i have another problem =| when i reinstalled the softmod when i restarted my xbox it was fine at first... but then when it was installing the final file it says there is something wrong with the dashboard and is reseting it to the original and shit.. but thats not my problem lol.... when i try to play a game on xbox live it wont ever connect to it... does anyone know whats going on and how to resolve it??

and another thing... are u installing the 250 gig on ur xbox or your computer?

 

I figured it out thanks , the real eeprom was in /E/UDATA/21585554/000000000000/backup/ i used that eeprom and bam worked perfectly and yup 250 gig maxtor, thanks guys

 

ok this forum goes to far back to read every one but i softmodded my xbox changed, my network settings to dhcp in my modded dash, turned off xbox, hit eject button, put in disk and closed tray then when i try to log into xbox live it wont connect so i trouble shot the connection and it goes through all except for the last one and a red X comes up and it gives me some crap about the MTU settings in router, so i checked it and they are good. if someone could please help me with this its making me mad and dont know what to do.

to use xbox live power on your xbox via OPEN TRAY NOT tro the ms dash from the hacked dash, once pressing open tray that should load ms dash AND the circle led WILL BE GREEN or any other mode nor cold boot ...

now guerrero what did you do man? why change dhcp all all that process when all you do is softmod completly and just power it off then power it on via OPEN TRAY that should load the ms dash AND the circle led WILL BE GREEN if its red then mod is still active

ok so I think I did everything right,but I cant dropp the files in the memory card part of AR it will let me drop in in the pc part of it though? Is it cause I have winrar? Can someone please help me tonight?

 

See what i did to be able to drop files was to rename the sid installer and whatever game save you are using to any one of the ones already in AR and over ride those files , then once in AR you go under that game save that you had name to and it will copy over

if you go to the AR install folder in the saves folder pick any two of those saves delete them and replace the SID4.NK.Launcher and the SID4.NK.Loader with the ones you just deleted but dont forget to rename "SID4.NK.Launcher" and "SID4.NK.Loader(game save)" to the two files you just deleted , then once in AR you go to those two game saves and you should be able to drag them over to your memory card , also make sure the AR driver is installed so that windows can detect you xbox memory card, i can make it any clearer than that

 

That will help tons thanx alot. So I don't have to unrar/unpack the files or anything cause I read on here that you do. I really appriciate your help. Im so close to getting this done,its a mission now.

wich splinter cell file do u use,my xbox light is red after i did the soft mod and it wont boot to unleashx?
