How to Softmod with SID 4.0! Tells how to get on XBL too!

I gotta questin which is better sid or krayzies ndure installer i no krazyies xbox live is better but i want to know which one for when i mod another xbox

quick question i installed and followed the tutorial completely and everything worked but when i turn on my xbox it asks me to set the time everytime and will not load evox or unleashx because it will go to the default dash and i know the softmod is working cause the led light is red. did i do something wrong or is there a way to change this so it will load with the evox dash when i turn my xbox on?

 

try to hold the back triggers and press start and back at the same time and mybe that will work

Hi guys dont know if this is right but if i press the power on it boots to evox but if i eject the cd draw it goes back to Softmod Installer Deluxe 4's menu is this right or not ???

 

it's not right or wrong, you can change how it boots up, I'm pretty sure

 

yea just find multi boots and unistall it or change to wat u want

 

i hate this ive been modding forver and then i got the krazies dashboard ofcourse i cant sign onto xbox live but my LED light is only green it never turns to red i have my ms dashboard, i tried switching my ftp ip settings to my computers but the gateway doesnt work, do i just change the settings on my ip or something on the regular dashboard even though theres no red lED light on my xbox?

 

ya see i have the same problem i used sid 4.0 i installed correctly but i couldnt get on live,i even tried setting the network settings to dhcp but i still cant get on.i re-set it to static but still i cant get on.then i removed the sofmod but still i cant get on.plz help me!

this might be a dumb yes or no type of question but is AR absolutley necessary to softmod? I have a usb connection that plugs into my xbox controller port and a jump drive so its kinda the same thing but just wanted to get some clarification.

well first off dont fell dumb that little usb manuver u pulled is inginuity at its finest.second as long as u can transfer files correctly for the xbox to recognize then u should be fine.

 

right on... just wanted to make sure cause trying to find a copy of AR is turning out to be a real pain in the ass.

ok im first modded my box with SID3 (my mistake) and i wanted to upgrade to SID4 i followed the tut and when i get to install softmod i cant install wat the tut says to do cuz i guess i dont have newest dash (wat a drag) so it says i have to install single boot im wondering if i will still be able to get on live and if i will b able 2 get to my MS dash...PLZ reply so i can fix this stuff up

 

ok all u gotta do to get da newest dash is before u install the sofmod on yo box put in a new xbl game and itll give u the opition to upgrade and jus do dat and u should be able to install fine

 

well i put in halo 2 and it didnt say anything so when i install the SID4 i do wat tut says and when i try to take out disk my xbox tray opens then closes bk and says "error 13" sucks nutz im doing this for my MS dash so i can get bk on live and make new accnts

 

Im confused are you trying to soft mod ur box with halo or are your trying to use AR to mod ur halo game same? If your trying to mod ur box with halo thats not gonna work.
