how to spilt a large mp3 file

    i recorded a audio baseball game from the internet using creative lab.
    i save it as mp3 .its 2 hours long ,but its only 35 megs. i try to put it in a cd .
    i use nero and other different software to record .
    i get the same unser.the file is to big.

    is there a way to record this file and listen like a regular cd.

    thanks for any feed back....

    MP3 Direct Cut. Cut it into 2 60 minute segments and save them. Burn each as an audio CD and Bob's your uncle.

    Why would you even suggest the OP pay $24.95 to get a program that probably has to re-encode the file when there's a free program that does exactly what the OP needs?

    hey i'm looking for something to do the reverse (merge a bunch of small mp3s int one large one)

    any suggestions?
