ok i downloaded a .mkv movie and in order to play it on my PS3 i converted it into .m2ts using tsMuxeR GUI 1.8.8 only to find that i can only put up to 4GB onto my external HDD at a time i tried to use tsMuxeR to split it into 4GB chunks but every time i try it has an error
so i need another way to split the file or a way to make tsMuxeR to work

Chances are that your external drive is a FAT32 system. My advice is to backup all the data on that drive and then re-format as an NTFS file system drive. Your problems should be over.

    Cheers.

Use Mkvmerge to split the files to 4250k, then run those thru tsmuxer...
