    Hi, Computer came preinstalled with Nero 7 Essentials.

    I'm trying to find how to stop it from opening the drive door after burning a DVD. Is there a menu somewhere to stop this?

    Otherwise, Nero looks like it would be great. But not when I cannot check what's been written on the disc without pushing tray back in and rescanning etc. etc. That's a deal breaker!

    Thanks!

    Try Imgburn, it's free and highly configurable. You can choose whether or not to eject the tray after a project if you want.

    If I'm right...

    Nero Burning ROM/Express;
    Options>Expert Features
    Check “Do not eject disc after the burn is complete”

    Yep, thanks to y'all, I found it in "expert features" tab.

    Otherwise I never would have seen any options menu.

    Because Nero cleverly hid the menus under the tiny "<" symbol in order to make it hard to find and thereby discourage their new users.

    Cheers!
