I just wondering if there was a program out there that would be able to tell if DVD files on my computer are either PAL or NTSC without wasting a disk... thanks

there is probably a more efficient way, however, this will work. use smartripper 2.41 and when it gets to the rip screen, one of the columns will tell you if it is pal or ntsc. hope this helps.

PDVD {PowerDVD} shoulda been able to tell you if it was PAL or NTSC by displaying the DVD/mpgs information during playback.. should show framerate .. Dont remember what the specs are for NTSC and PAL framerates so do a Search of the AD Glossary
