I have searched for about 2 days in google for an answer but to no avail.

I have a PS2 which I use to play dvd-r's, It will only play ntsc disks , my question is how do I tell if the .img or .whatever is PAL or NTSC.

I don't care about conversion or anything like that I just want to know how to find out if its PAL or NTSC,

I use demon tools and it can play both formats on the computer and have used dvd decrypter to burn the .img's in the past but I wasn't able to find anyplace where it says what format the resulting dvd will be.

Any help / program suggestions are appreciated.

    If you have Nero.
Nero InfoTool will tell you if disc is NTSC or PAL.
    Nero InfoTool ; Disc Tab
