how to transcode AVI to HD?

    hi all, i once again turn to the people in this fine comunity for help, i have converted one of my dvds into avi and i was wondering if i could convert that AVI file into a HD DVD if so how do i do it?

    Would be pointless unless your avi is an HD video file. You output can only be as good as your source.
