i have a question about the divxtodvd software. i downloaded the trial verion, liked it, and bought it. however, as stupid as it sounds, i cant figure out how to view the login key they sent me in a zip file. i used winrar to unpack and opened the created folder which asked me if i wanted to add it to my registry. fine. but when i re opened the program it promped me to manually enter a login key. where the hell is it? its not in the file as far as i can tell. has anybody used this program that can enlighten me? i e mailed their support but they have not replied. why cant they just put the reg. key in the e mail?
    thank you

rotary, have you had any issues with jumpy playback. I used tmpgencplus for pal to ntsc conversion and I get some jumpyness. personally it doesnt bother me but my friend wants it perfect. I am using thefilmmachine program whic his similar to avi2dvd wit hcce encoder. I was just wondering how it does the pal to ntsc conversions. thanks

    hi

the new film machine is kickbutt! the beta has DSROBA now thats a script to do 4 passses of CCE in what would be 1 pass of CCE

    brill

no jumpy jerky is a 99% media issue amongst other things like dont burn to end of disc and heavy compression maybe? but could also be speed of the burn to!

    or basically sh*te media/discs

I just converted house of wax it was one avi. so I used the program which went smoothly with cce, and when it finished the iso file wouldnt play. i was getting an error.on top of that the two file folders audio and video were empty!

    any ideas?

I have to check my codecs to see if the right ones are installed. sincew im at work I have been playing withtthe codecs and manually deleting the ones listed in the sticky. so far I have installed the following:

Divix 3.11, ac3m decompressor, ac3 filter, xvid, aand Im gonna download the directx9 microsoft later. Im getting confused wit hall these codecs and I have a belief that the conversion didnt work becasue of that.

Im using the 1.5.0.11 Beta version of filemachine

thanks for the help so far.

apparently I tired using the dsroba feature but it will not accept cce 2.7, only 2.67, which I cant find anywhere to download. any idea where to download it?

I did it the ol'fashioned way 4 passes, but when I check the dsroba feature an error message pops up stating it will only accept 2.67.

    any ideas?

I converted the avi last night. a few questions. when I play the movie back I am getting a littel icon on the bottom right that says cinema craft encoder. can I get rid of that. Also Im not able to play the mpg on my media player.

I ended up with 3 files. 1. mpeg 1gig file which has audio and video. second is an ac3 audio and a 4 gig mpv file.

in the begining of the movie in big blck letters im getting a message "warning:nothing to output bframe decoder lag"

I tried to update my realplayer and it said I need an mpeg-2 component microsoft directshow decoding software. I thought it was in the k-lite mega codec package?

any ideas? the biggest thing that pisses me off is the little icon in the bottom right.
