how to update DVD writer/reader Firmware?

    ok i got a Phillips DVD burner/Reader. right now its on B3.3 firmware i think. How can i update it becuase on some new DVD's that i burn, it reads them as 0 bytes when ive burnt like 3gb on a DVD+R!!!! i used nero! Thanks. really pissin me of lol

    If Philips has a new update for the drive, simply download and double click to install.

    Make sure you also have the current chipset drivers installed.

    ok installed but i dont have a SATA prt so i dont need to install chipset drivers right?

    Chipset drivers are a necessity...don't worry, the program will detect what's needed and install the right drivers.
