How to: Update Eurovox Max V with Kuro 18.04.08 (R.I.P 28/11/2008)

Sorry lads im a bit late in the game for this lark. I have a black 2008 EuroVos maxV and recently lost the signal. I have tried to upload software kuro3 10 and 18 to activate the box but all im getting is the standby light on it. Does anybody know a way to activate it to upload stuff or is it for the bin. Ps Another question, how do you get onto somebodys sig?

 

Rob when you hit download it should say system reset, if it is stuck on that unplug and then plug back in the Eurovox. Sorry I have to leave hope you get sorted.

 

Evening All.Have just discovered that my eurovox max 2006 Blue is actually a clone.Am gutted as i was trying to flash for the first time.Motherboard screws are painted red,multi-cable instead of ribbon and scart port black instead of silver on the inside.Does anyone have a link for latest firmware for Clones?

Thanks Karljd,worked a treat.Have 65 channels in Kildare area with ch**us but missing the likes of E4,More 4,some of the Sly movie channels,and bbc 3 and 4 are pixilating.Would you have channel list for this area?

 

these are alll i have to hand for newbridge and naas i no the frequencies vary a lot in kildare

great information..its worked for me iv just updated my EURI VOX MAX V 08 and it worked great....i have ntl uk and the symbol rate was 6.952 thats the only 1 that worked for me the other was ireland i think...just trying to save time as i waited about 20 mins then had to do it all again as it had not found anythimg....

Bet you wish you stuck to Dreambox now Only joking I presume its Ch**us cable they are on? Press menu, installation, user installation and post the frequencies you see. I may be able to fill in the blanks for you.

 

think i have it right gettin 137 channels sounds about right doesnt it? i had to do a few manual scans,he ordered the box himself and it came ready to go but when they went down he hadnt a clue how to fix it

hope the chorus going down earlier was just down to the roms being slow to update and not a sign of things to come ill stick to my trusty dreambox and box-t,have it sorted for him now so happy days

Hi all having probs loading latest firmware for blue box just keeps saying firmware not fit for your reciever ,deffinate it is a blue box and checked it is not a clone any help advise would be gratfull

 

What firmware are you using , Also how do you know your box is blue and for what reason isnt it a clone?

 

hi i have the original box it came in plus i hav checked from this forum just to confirm it is a blue box also chcked it is not a clone firmware version is 2.10
