its a unified loader so no need to load a bin file just press the top download button

gman I have seen your list, but all frequencies differ dependent upon provider and location. We have a similar thread with net ids and frequencies but they are the same in a generic sense.

Make sure you don't have a clone before putting that firmware on by looking here.

    http://www.irelandeurovox.com/eurovoxclones.htm

If your sure yours isnt a clone that firmware posted is fine. All the best!

    gman & sc0user,

tried to use the frequencies on the list but it does not pick up any s*y sp*rts or d*sney chns.

I was on satfile website and was given the correct frequencies via a pm but the site is closed now and i cannot access the message... very frustrating!! Is there any way of finding out what the frequenceis are for my area at all?

    cheers

Hi I have the Eurovox Max V 2008and I am having the 8% problem.

I definitely have a null modem cable,I the Eurovox Max V 2008 is definitely not a clone.

I followed your step by step guide but I'm stuck at step 11/12. Im in Dublin and my provider was C****s but they have now merged with N*L so they are the same company here now.

Firstly I downloaded UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08.zip and did a powerscan on each of the 3 symbol rate options 6887, 6952 and 6875 (this last one was the one for C****s when I got the box in January), none of them worked and I had the 8% problem.

I then downloaded UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_28_04_08_T.zip and did a powerscan on all the same symbol rate options and I am still getting the blank listings, with no channel and saying 8% quality.

I've read the rest of the threads and the UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_28_04_08_T.zip download seems to have done the trick for everyone else but its not working for me.

Anyone any idea where I go from here?

    Cheers

No didn't know about that, I had a look around the site, there seems to be two:
    http://www.4shared.com/file/37910544/657...rified=60f4dc62

    or

    http://www.4shared.com/file/3122288...nnel_data_Phil43.html?dirPwdVerified=60f4dc62

I tried to download them but am getting the unknown application warning from windows, as in it doesn't know what program to open them with.

Do I just save them and then upload or something? How do I upload?

    Cheers

Just a guess ;) Press menu, config, clear data and clear channel data, press OK. Turn EV off and then back on. Press menu, installation, user installation.

Change symbol rate to 6875 again, start frequency change to 274.000 and end at 460.000, press OK to start scan.

    Ha, good guess!
I tried that but it didn't work, still the 8% quality and no channels. I tried it a second time just to be sure and the same thing, the Level and Quality indictors didn't budge from 8%.
    Any ideas?

I presume it is connected to the RF/Cable in socket on the back of the box and that you have a live feed. What was the previous firmware that you had when it was working?

Nice one Scouser, it was a dodgy RF cable connection!
Just plugged in my old Chorus box and there was no signal, I cut back the cable and tried again and it worked!
I have all the channels up and running, will be able to watch Munster win the Heineken Cup Final now, woo hoo!
    Thanks for your help.
