I have finally decided to take the plung and update the firmware on my Eurovox max v with UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08.zip (1.25 MB)
At the moment I can not get any channels due to the usual codes updating and I do not have new codes. Can I still go ahead and update or do I need to have codes valid codes when I update firmware ?? :)

Ok,Ty, My PC is less then a year old and cost 900 euro you would think it would have a 9 pin serial socket. Anyway I will have to put it off for another day or so! No good telly again tonite. Thanks again Sc0user srry for being a dumb blond :)

I have a old Toshiba Laptop ( no 9 pin port ) I might use that then when I get a USB Adaptor Its a bit slow but would probably be perfect for updates. Why have you a few new laptops? how many you need? :)

If it's Max V black, then you will find it at the bottom of HiTech's post above, if you have problems then go into Eamo's Library at the bottom of my post and into Eurovox 4th down then into Firmware 4th down and download the Max V Kuro3_18_04_08 2nd from bottom. Front page of this thread will help you also.
