Thanks Fergusrb, There was no service to the house when I moved in and the box worked fine then. Why would this be?

yes it was there from the previous tenant and was just overlooked for disconnection and once you took out the trial period for their services and then canceled it that is when they disconnected the feed going to the house

If you had just plugged your box in to the cable without them coming out you would have been alright

So now you need to get back on to them and take out a basic subscription with them so you can get your box up and running a little lesson to be learned here dont ask for trial period subscriptions if you have a live feed

What firmware version did you use and what provider ID did you use? Also presume its a live feed and coax is in Cable In RF port on the back of the EV?

Just loaded autoroll software 180408 onto my Eurovox Max V, I am in teesside on NTL, tried scanning on 6.887 symbol rate although not 100% sure this is correct, still getting no channels, 0000 displaying on screen, any ideas?

Halfway through one but doesn't look good, nothing found so far (500/770), now pretty sure 6887 is correct as I have checked my Starview and it is picking up channels ok with this setting, any other ideas?

If not try 6952 as you could be on either. But predominantly 6887 for your area. Make sure you have it scanning directly from the incoming feed. And you are in the Cable In RF socket on the back of the box.
