    1. Decide what and how many pictures you want to upload to your phone.
    2. Using the camera take tha many pictures. it does not matter of what.
    3. Now go to your Pix Gallery and find the pictures you just took.
    4. when they are highlighted. In the uper right hand corner is the name of the file. Jot down the names of each of

    the files
    5. Goto the wallpaper files that you want to upload and rename each of them to the names you jus tjotted down.

The following steps were obtained from a previous thread. Give creadit where credit is due.
    http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=772771&highlight=a850+ringtone

    6. Download and Install The Drivers For The A970 (it will appear as CDMA Modem Install)
    7. Restart Computer
    8. After Restarted, plug in your PCB113VBEB Usb Data Cable to the USB Slot on your PC.
    9. Plug the Other end of the PCB113VBEB Usb Data Cable into your Samsung SCH-A850 Mobile Phone. Wait and let windows

    recognize it.
    10. Download And Install BitPM 8.0.7
    11. Open BitPM - Don't bother trying to Detect Phone. A970's and A850 are unsupported. Bitpim won't detect them. You

have to manually enter your phone's connection information.
    12. In BitPM Do The Following:
    13. Click Edit ->Settings
    14. Change Phone Type to CDMA-Other
    15. Type in the COM Port for the phone. I've had success with the Test port. (for me it's COM4) [aka SAMSUNG CDMA

    MODEM DIAGNOSTIC SERIAL PORT (WDM)(COM4)]
    16. Click the FileSystem Tab, it looks says 'Filesystem' and is the 2nd to last one on the right. After loading a

bit you should see your phone's file structure.
    17. All of your files should now be displayed in the form of a tree.
18.Extend The Tree On the Left As Follows
    /
    mm
    pg
    Default Album

    /mm/pg/Default Album
    19. On the left hand side click on Default Album.
    20. In the right hand pane is the list of all the pictures in your pix gallery.
    21. In the right hand pane right mouse click and click on New File.
    22. upload one of the wallpaper files you just renamed in step 5.
    23. Repeat steps 21 and 22 untill all files have been uploaded.
    24. Another important step, restart your phone before attempting to view it on the phone or it won't show up in the

    GIN menu.
12.Now you may set it as wallpaper.

    EDIT: TO DELETE A Wallpaper
Do it through GIN. DO NOT DELETE FOM BITPIM.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I just got a data cable for my phone (A-850) today and was looking for ways to create and upload ringtones and such. I decided to check out some other threads and found this.

I decided I would try a particular size image out on my phone and it appears that a 150x150 size image looks best to use and does not leave any white bars under either of the banners.
