HP DVD Writer DVD200i

    Hi, sorry but does anyone knows how to check the filmware version that is installed on my system?

    I had installed the filmware v1.72 for HP DVD writer DVD200i but nit sure where to check it.

    This new filmware adds support for 8X dvd media.

    Thanks, besides this I have a problem writing to DVD+R, sometimes, it will prematurely eject the DVD disc when burning saying there's an error writing to disc. Do u know what's the problem? I'm using Verbatim 1-4X DVD+R media and I have no background programs running, I'm on Winxp home edition SP1.
