Anyone been using HP lightscribe media. I have used a few disk and they seem to do well. I looked for Verbatim lightscribe disk and have not been able to find any. There seems to be only a few brands out the HP Phillips and Verbatim. I would appreciate any information.

    Thanks

I only use verbatim's LS media. Cmags has been making the HP LS discs. Same applies to Philips.

Use dvdidentifier to find the MID code,it's free:

Some drives have more trouble with cmag media,as apposed to Verbatim-made by Mitsubishi Chemical Corp.If issues arrise-playback-then that'd be the first thing to trouble shoot.

If you have nero's disc quality scanning program,Kprobe fro litey drives,Plextools for Plextor drives: You can scan your backups and see all those little errors that are on a backup disc. Dvdinfopro also has a scanning program.
