Ok. I found a beautiful background image, but I sudddenly deleted it.
But the image is still there.

So I guess the file must be on my computer somewhere right?
    Help please.

    Greetings

If you remember the name of the file run a search for it (start > search).

assuming you deleted it and it bypassed the recyc bin you can use a freeware proggy called undelete plus, there's two versions ones an installer the other is run from wherever and is not installed, the later is what you need for this recovery as nothing gets written to the hdd, assuming it finds it you can then run the install version for future use, there's also no reason why you can't remove all desktop stuff and take a snapshot of your wallpaper and save it to whatever folder.

while i'm here have you ever noticed that when you need to revert to a previous restore point it will tell you it can't coz no changes were made, well this proggy will it's saved my bacon on more than one occasion, again it's freeware and perfectly safe to use
    ERUNT recovery program
