    Hello guys,
i have just purchased a new macbook with OS X Tiger 10.4.9
I don't really know what the mac is capable of compared to the PC i have and previous windows laptops.....need help!
I am impressed so far, very easy to use and it looks sweet!
I have acquired some iso files for mac games on my pc and wish to transfer them to my laptop, however when i click the 'install' it asks me which application to run it with......i then get stuck!
the game is 'The Movies' which i have been told is a great game!
Any help will be much appreciated.....please use english and no computer jargon!!

Hi there, iso files are disk images. most CD/DVD authoring utilities can deal with ISO images to create a copy on physical media - CD or DVD. you just need to burn them to a disk either a blank CD or DVD depending on what size the iso files are. there are also 2 utilities in OS X - they are 1. DISK UTILITY - mac os x general disk utility, you can create and mount iso images 2. DiskImageMounter - utility in os x that handles images when double clicked.

    hope this helps

Toast wont rip encrypted DVDs (mostly all). You should try Fast DVD Copy.

hi trigga71 is right, toast will not rip encrypted dvd's, but is very good burning software, can be used to burn images to cd/dvd.
