i am a verizon dsl user and just installed IE 7 on my pc, previously using firefox, but i noticed that some sites required IE7 so i downloaded it, but when i open IE7 it has no connection, firefox does though i just need help on what to do to get IE 7 to work please help
yeah i've been having a problem with IE7 too, and i always use Firefox. Whenever i click to open IE7, it opens for a brief second and just closes. I haven't tried reinstalling it though. Have you tried reinstalling it?
it opens, and stays open, just doesnt connect to the internet.........just says page loading failed or something like that
Firewall..it needs an exception setting in the control panel>firewall>exceptions area. so it can connect, otherwise it will be blocked.
uninstall ie7 as you have a 50/50 chance of ie7 working right in connecting whether with legit windows or not legit. go into add/remove programs to uninstall ie7. i don't install ie7 on any of my customers' computers & i tell them why.
because ie7 might or might not work & not worth the time to download, install & than find out can't get on net so than have to uninstall it. no thankyou.
