I can't ftp to xbox

I dont think it makes any difference which side goes where as long as its a crossover cable!

Okay well i've tried changing my ip on my xbox like 100000000000 times so i'm making a post please help... aim:spenceb7 phonyspylan@teamnivlac.com is my email. My computer is hooked up to my xbox by a crossover and My internet connection:
Ip: 192.168.2.51
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.2.1

Local Area: (which i think it's hooked up to because when i turn my xbox off it says a network cable is unplugged)
Ip: 192.168.0.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
and that's all the info i get...

there is no info on my box. I have xbox media center installed and have flashfxp and smartftp client istalled so all help will be great.

 

if your xbox is wired to a router you dont need a crossover cable. Say your router is 198.162.1.1(this default gateway) your computer connected to the router is 198.162.1.2 then your xbox is 198.162.1.3. goto your evox.ini and change the network settings, setup network = yes and static ip = yes, and fill in ip and default gateway. Then turn off firewall and open flash fxp. Punch in the xbox ip(198.162.1.3) uncheck anonoymous. Turn on xbox with evox iso. then connect in flashfxp

 

spenceb7 you need to edit the network settings in your evox.ini put your ip as 198.162.2.2 and try that. xbox ip will probably be that if your ip is 198.162.2.1
