have you tried playing the movie to see if there are any errors, which could in turn give a burn error?

well i don't know what setup you have but anyway

1.Set DVDDecypter to ISO (W)WRITE Mode, close it

    2.Open up DVDShrink..backup,to HD

3.Burn with DVDDecypter to your blank.

    or

1.DVDDecypter to HD in (F)File Mode.

2.DVDDecypter in ISO (W)Write Mode. Burn It.

"on all i get a cyclic redundancy check error" sounds like a scratch or mark on the dvd media

For what it's worth, I also have had trouble trying to copy a non-encrypted disc with Decryptor and with DVD X Copy Xpress. But both discs I tried copied fine with my "ordinary" burning software (Easy Media Creator 7)as one might expect. I guess the only reason I tried Decryptor or DVD X Copy in the first place was that this is the way I usually did it. However, it does seem odd that decrypting software might have problems with non-decrypted discs.

If your putting labels on your dvd-r's, that is the problem. I had the same problem and washed the labels off, and they copied just fine then.

Or as others suggested, it could be crappy media. What media are you using?

I had the same problem with DVD X Copy Xpress. I downloaded Clone DVD from one of the bit torrent sites, and it makes perfect copies of my copies.

Yeah but he said he tried clonedvd, so it clearly isn't the copying program that is the problem, so it has to be something with the media.

I have used the ripper free version of Dvdxcopy to make a copy of a copy. It will even copy one that the ripper version has made, even though the ripper version wont.
