Okay so, me and my friends were modding our Xboxs using the Splinter Cell/Action Replay/Memory Card softmod technique yesterday and as I was backing up files and so, I chose to do Unleash X instead of Evox.

Unfortunately, since replacing Unleash took such a short amount of time, I didn't think it worked. So instead I replaced Evox as well.

So I restarted my console and copied my first game, Urban Chaos: Riot Response. I went through my saved files and deleted Linyx and the Splinter Cell Linyx file, thinking they took up too much space.

    Everything's alright, right?

    Wrong. Couldn't be wronger.

I restarted my console and it switched from Unleash X to Evox skin.

Unfortuantely, when it made this transfer, it also deleted all my saved files, games, etc.

And I can't access Microsoft Dashboard, since Evox won't let me press it.

I know you guys are probably tired of answering these idiotic questions (I'm the leader of a forum myself), but this was purely a honest mistake, as I'm not one of those "press first ask questions later" or "hey I don't pay attention, who cares" kind of person.

So guys, for the love of God, how do I get that Linyx File back, or change my skin to anything besides Evox?

Thanks man, it's still downloading (34%) but when it finishes I'm going to get right into remodding my Xbox (this time without being a retard).

    Should be an .iso file!

    Burn it as an image!

My 'HDD Upgrade' tutorial will show you how to burn an iso correctly!

When it's done, insert into Xbox and follow instructions!

    And do I use CD-Rs or DVD-Rs??

AID won't fit on a CD, it has to be DVD-R...

Why do you want your eeprom file?

    Read my tutorials!

So I burn the Auto Installer Deluxe to a DVD using your instructions?

Just the iso file. The iso file is an image that contains the disc contents.

Read my HDD upgrade tutorial to show you how to burn iso files!

    I ran into another problem.

I went into Nero Burning ROM and inserted my DVD+R cd, then set the little scrolldown thing to "CD". I put on "Cd-Rom". I selected "Auto Installer Deluxe.iso" as my file. I pressed "burn".

I put it in my Xbox, and it didn't recognise it. It wouldn't let me select "Play Game From DVD".

Select 'DVD' for a DVD+-R disc, only select CD if that's what you are burning to...

    Ehh, close it!?

Reboot the Xbox, it should load the disc and bring you to the AID menu!
