I Give Up!!! Other alternatives to DVD Decry and Shrink

    AnyDVD does nothing physically to the original disc. It presents to your ripping program a disc that appears to be region and protection free. By the way, it's not leagal to copy rental discs, only those you own(in some countries).....

    I doubt the company would know about a dvd being copied because I've done it a few times and nothing happened.

    I have maxell dvd + R for burning is that ok to use with clone cause i dont think its see the disk

    Here is a guide for using AnyDVD and CloneDVD together. The Maxell's are good if made in Japan. Make sure your firmware is up to date for your burner...if you need help finding out post your Model# and we can find it for you.

    ok will i dont no what to look for and im sure its all upto date cause i just bought it and just had it put in my computer yesterday the clone saying insert a recordabke media into drive e so should i go buy the media dvd's

    im sorry i dont no were to look for that dont no much about computers i been at this sence yesterday morning trying to burn i finally got that far i just get the disk to work

    Firmware may still be old as your burner could've sat on a store room shelf for six months before you bought it...what is the model#?

    How or where you got the DVD has absolutely no bearing on the problem so if you're burning rentals we don't need to know or hear about it in the forums ;)

    Update your firmware and read the guide that I provided for you and all should be well.
