AnyDVD does nothing physically to the original disc. It presents to your ripping program a disc that appears to be region and protection free. By the way, it's not leagal to copy rental discs, only those you own(in some countries).....
I doubt the company would know about a dvd being copied because I've done it a few times and nothing happened.
Yous guys are now flirtin with disaster...don't discuss illegal matters here as the consequences could be severe for you and for the site.
Here is a guide for using AnyDVD and CloneDVD together. The Maxell's are good if made in Japan. Make sure your firmware is up to date for your burner...if you need help finding out post your Model# and we can find it for you. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72022

im sorry i dont no were to look for that dont no much about computers i been at this sence yesterday morning trying to burn i finally got that far i just get the disk to work
Firmware may still be old as your burner could've sat on a store room shelf for six months before you bought it...what is the model#?
Current firmware for your drive is ps09 and can be found here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces
How or where you got the DVD has absolutely no bearing on the problem so if you're burning rentals we don't need to know or hear about it in the forums
