Where did i go wrong. my audio-ts folder has 0-k in side of it.. the movie burnt great just no sound. this is my first time ever. i've read a bunch but cant seem to find where i went wrong. and also my subtitles are on. thank you very much. using mac the ripper and dvd2onex
first, after you ripped the movie using MTR (and before you compress it with dvd2one) does it have sound when you played it through your apple dvd player on your computer. Next, if it does have sound, did you select an audio channel on the right hand column of dvd2one after you selected the video ts folder? whenever i've forgotten to select an audio channel and try to process it says something like...you did not select any audio tracks, do you wish to continue? that would be pretty obvious so i'm sure you didn't miss that. as far as the audio ts folder goes, i'm pretty sure that i've never seen anything in them, so that should be normal.
First of all read this: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/125996 Then read it again. When you're done, read it again. The audio_ts folder is always empty. That is not where the audio is. In dvd2onex you have to TELL it what audio you want to keep. Hit "selections" and a whole new window will pop out with the audio you can select. That information should be in your user's manual.... RTFM
Hey Brant, Mediaguru is correct. I have had several movies created without sound after using DVD2oneX. My solution is to use DVD2ONEX again. In all of my no-sound cases, I simply ran dvd2onex again and upon completion played the movie with my DVDplayer on my mac and it worked. Then I simply burned it onto a DVD-R. I dont what the reason is but sometimes my MRT will quit unexpectedly, or the dvd2onex will quit unexpectedly or I will get some errors while using the MTR. But once I go start the process over, it works 98.9% of the time. Try using MTR with a movie only arcoss enabled and then use dvd2onex. But most of all use this site for your answers, it has helped me alot.
i got it to work. thank you. i just reripped it again. man i wish i used the dvd on the mac first, it cost me 3 disks.
