Okay, here's my issue...dvd decrypter reads disk and creates an iso image. Great!! However, when I try to write the iso image to blank dvd, i keep getting this message:

    I/O ERROR!

    DEVICE :(1:0:0)DVDRW IDE 16X A07R(D:)(ATA)

    SCSI STATUS 0X02
    INTERPRETATION: CHECK CONDITION
    CDB: 2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00
    INTERPRETATION: WRITE (10)-SECTORS: 0-3

    Please someone help me.

    The dvd I have is a dual layer 16x dvd-+ r, rw

I would appreciate any kind of assistance. Thanks again.

Watch multi posting - ask the mods to close the thread you started for the same thing in the Advanced users Forum.
Here are some suggestions from Nero - (will apply to decrypter also)
    * Update the firmware of your recorder. Please check the manufacturer's website for the latest version.
    * Try another brand of CD-R or CD-RW media.
    * Try different power connectors, and for recorders, do not share power with other devices. It needs its own power connector. If the error occurs with an external recorder, the power source in the chassis could be the cause. As a test, try to take the recorder out of the external chassis and connect it internal.
    * Try different configurations, such as taking the CD-ROM to the primary IDE bus as slave and have only the recorder connected to the secondary IDE bus as master.
    * Send the recorder in for service.
What media are you using? This is probably your cause.

Dual layers do not come in 16x speed nor in rewritable format, and it is either - or + not both. What brand of media is this, if it is a single layer maybe you need to Shrink your file.

my drive is a i/o magic dual layer, 16x dvdr+-,dvdrw. I'm referring to the drive, not media.

What kind of media are you using, power callibration errors in Decrypter can be caused by out of date firmware, cheap media, DMA settings not correct or burning to fast.
