granpabw, and you to brother, thank you. the saying welcome home brought back memories, only a true VN Vet knows what that means when when you see two all farts hugging each other and making that comment.

OK.Lets get specific then.He said 50 States.Well theirs 51 states in america now.Puerto Rico just became the 51 State.Go live in Puerto Rico,its acually very nice,on the San Jaun side atleast.

unless i failed out of 3rd grade we (the United States) only have 50 states there is no 51st state and wont be in the near future. i would like to see a flag a real American flag with 51 stars on it....you wont, not possible. i think you might want to go back to the 3rd grade again and learn about the states, cause it dont look like you learned the first time around..

i would never complain about someone wanting to leave the US.but i would find it insulting when someone complains about it cause they dont know what they are talking about and down grade the US cause of their ignorance.

It seems everyone is proud of their country and, seems to me, that is the way it should be. Every country, including mine (U.S.) has its good points and its bad; so far as I know, no country has become the utopia that philosophers once idealized and envisioned. Even those countries which governments love to point the finger at has its good points and its bad; its simply that our individual cultures makes us look at things through a different lens. If the press and certain politicans are to be believed, then all men from the middle east beat their wives and hold up their children as "human shields" and nothing could be further from the truth. Human nature is the same wherever you go ... different culture or not.

If you have the money, i would say go ahead and try for Dubai. Possibly the most beatiful and expensive city in the world but there is so much to look at there. My cousin went there and was pretty much shocked at what he saw- man made islands, construction of the tallest buulding eva in the world(Burj Dubai), underwater hotel, an indoor ski resort, and a complex to accomdate various sports to name a few. Its also quite peaceful and hormonious there.
