    hi, dose anyone knows a prgram that helps in cutting songs so that i can hear just a part of it ( removing the begining of the music ) in a way to be able to turn it into a ringtone for my mobile ( minimize its size )
    thanks in advance

    Nero Wave Editor will do it - but the program looks complex and I dont know how to use it, but there is bound to be a walk through guide on here somewhere.

    :)

    Hello,

    Hey Bird7, does this Audacity software can be used to strip off unwanted start & end crap from a MP3 songs. I do have some MP3 songs that have some words from the artist at the beginings & ends.

    I wish to take it out.. can this be done & how do I do it??

    Thanks,
    Sandy.

    Lame encoder saves the new stripped file as an MP3, Audacity strips it :{}

    There's another good free proggy for trimming down audio files......
    http://www.mptrim.com/

    If you're lazy and want to do batch processing, then you'll have to "upgrade" and get the Pro version which is big $$$$.

    I have a question that may be hard to answer. Does anyone know a burning program that is compatibale with JAWS (a reading program for the blind). This forum was close as i could see that might answer my question.
