ok i soft modded my x box i dont know alot about all this modding stuff i have x box live and stuff but i would really like to know how to mod halo 2 maps i have played on some before on live but know NOTHING about them or how to do it. plz help halogod
Ok I will tell you everything you need to know. First you need to ftp into your xbox. So you boot up your xbox and go onto your computer have your xbox plugged into your router and computer plugged into your computer. now go into internet browser on your computer. And type in ftp://xbox:xbox@(Ip Of your xbox)/ and some folders should come up. Now go into the e folder. Now go to tdata and look through some folders until your find one with 3 folers in it. Now go into eather of the 3 folders and you will find some new maps in each ( New Maps ) NOW TRANSFER THEM TO YOUR COMPUTER make a folder FOLDER CALLED BACKUP MAPS. Then make one called modded maps with the maps in them. Now use Dot Halo or insolence or any other program to edit them. NOW THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU FTP THE MAPS BACK ONTO YOUR XBOX USE A PROGRAM CALLED CMR TO RESIGN THE MAPS. IF YOU DON'T THE MAPS WON'T LOAD.
