i need help i'm a modding newb

That's probably why I don't know of any.

 

Yeah I gave him the link to antmans programs.. Anyways, just patch the .ppf's with the map's and make sure you resign them.

 

i can't download them, and i don't know how to patch the maps or resign them either, care to explain

 

Get PPF-O-Matic and apply the .ppf file to the map. Then get coolspots map resigner and resign the map. Then just FTP the patched map over to your xbox re-writing the old one.

 

wut if i want to keep the old maps, do i just save it over to the computer, and can i get a link or something to download coolspot's map resigner, cuz like i said, i can't download them from that link u gave me

 

ok, i have had the "You failed to load the map." message many times. it means that the xbox cant:
1)find where you spawn
2)load your character because of changes in appearance or speed
3)load the map (well duh) because part of the mod made it corrupt
4)load any weapons you put on using Insolence (or whatever other programs there are) from a single player map
and why im here, i have another question...

if you have a single player map that fails to load and you take the weapons from there and put them on a map, will it say "You failed to load the map." on the multi map you put them on?

 

it may, i haven't figured out insolence yet, i'm kinda new too

 

uh... I need some tutorials on modding; I've lost my *Special Touch*...

 

maybe if you said what tutorials you need help with.
