I just baught a JVC all-in-one VCR-DVD-R combo. Im having trouble burning some VHS(that i own) that are Copy Protected. How would i get around this problem, since it is all-in-one machine, without bringing in another VCR and/or copy protected scrambler. Is there a manual way i can go about doing this? Thank you for your time and please help me...

I just answered this for another person. You can't do a copy protected tape to a dvd with a combo all in one unit. There is no way to remove the copy protection. You need another VCR as the tape player and a macrovision remover box in the video line between the player and the dvd recorder. The boxes cost around $50. to $100. Search for Macrovision removers.
