It seems as if, everytime I use my dvd shrinker or try to burn a movie my computer runs very slow... any other time, my computer runs just fine. could it be that my cd/dvd rom or my burner is going bad???? everytime i shrink or burn a movie, it starts out fast and as it goes on, it starts to slow down, it takes about an hour to shrink or burn a movie... i burned or shrink movies before and it usually takes only 15 mins or so for it to finish. what could be the problem here... please respond.

i had followed the steps to the DMA. And its suppose to be just DMA it says... And on the primary it has the PIO on device 1. it says to unistall it. and i did, and it restarted and everything, but its still PIO... is there any other way to change it??? please respond.
