I need to reset my receiver and clean the memory and other junk?

I saw a post in After Dawn and decided to ask you guys for some advice, if you do not mind?
My name is Miles and I have a Coolsat 5000 Platinum that I load the new bins every time they are available and sometimes do the keys manually. Everything generally works, as I know how to load and flash the new bins and manually how to enter the keys, however my channels are not as many as I got a year ago when I started. I think I need to clean out my electrical memory and garbage files that may be lingering on my system(like a computers registry and hard drive cleaning)

I can only get pictures from SAt. Annik2, where I used to be able to get echo 6-8 and echo 7 all at 110 and 119 also!!.
I think I need to follow the following procedure below in red like reformatting a computers hard drive and defraging it.

I get my new nor wood 141.bins and keys from DSSrookie.com for free. They seem to always work fine when I flash and load manually load the keys.

I can't get the porn channels any more 485, playboy, spice etc. I think if you could explain the following procedure below in red, and your advice regarding it, this may solve my problems and be able to autoscan and get the other sats and stations again?


The proper procedure to load a new bin in stb is as follow. If you follow this procedure and turn back your autoroll you should not have any problem. I have a coolsat 5000 (b*v only) everything is great and the autoroll work great

1. Write down your dish Settings (You will need them for step 7)
2. First do a Factory Set !! [Menu-System Settings-Database Reset-Factory Set]
3. Load Factory Flash !
4. Factory Set
5. Load the 141 bin
6. Do another Factory Set !
7. Setup your dish settings
8. Setup your options [Renumbering Local Channels is a new option]
9. Auto Scan sats. (turning off network search will speed up 110 scan)
10. Set Time Settings and Channel Locks, Exit and Watch TV

Steps 3 and 4 ? Are they part of the menu choices or are they programs or files I need to get first?

What is the difference between factory set and load factory flash?
I know how and have 141 bin and proloader to do the flash.
I have written down all my settings to redo after I follow this protocol.
#8 I can leave my options as I have them written down, right? I do not need to renumber anything, correct?

I'm just afraid to start and ruin everything without you clarifying the above. I am a novice who had someone sell this to me, paid him to maintain it and he disappeared with my money and a 2nd Coolsat box for my upstairs TV. Consequently, I had to learn how to do some of these things on my own.

PS I think I just need to know where to get the original factory flash file or what its name is to use in the above protocol for cleaning and reformatting?
