Can anyone tell me the cause for this I/O Error? I was using Memorex DVD-Rs and burning successfully 1 out of 5 times. I switched to Verbatim DigitalMovie DVD-Rs and burned 5 out of 5 no problem. Now everytime I try to burn I get this I/O Error from DVD Decrypter. I first used DVD Shrink to rip the ISO then Decrypter to burn it. Nero 6 won't burn either, it just says "Write Error". I put in a lens cleaning CD, didn't help. I cleaned my brand new DVD-Rs, didn't help. I sprayed about half a can of condensed air into the drive, didn't help. I beginning to think it's the DVD-RW itself. It's a Dynex DX-DVDRW8, but it's only 2 weeks old. I can't find firmware for it anywhere either. Should I return it and spend the extra $$$ for a better DVD-RW? I/O Error! My problem just happened While Decrypting my original DVD to my Hard Drive. NOT even to the point yet of shrinking or burning with Nero. I got this message. Anyone out there can you help?
