hello, i tried to put a ipod video 5g or 5.5g firmware on my IPod mini... now my ipod is unusable! oh ya and i used ipod wizard to put the firmware on. can i remove the firmare how ???? can anyone can plz help!!!!
When you connect the iPod to the computer dose the computer see it, or is it like you don't even have it connected to the computer.
It's like a safe mode for your iPod. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for at least 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears. When the Apple logo appears, release the Menu and Select buttons and immediately press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until the Disk Mode screen appears. You may not get it on the first try so give it a few tries. If the battery is dead you will have to connect it to the computer. If you get it in Disk Mode connect it to the computer and it should recognize it. Then just put your old firmware back on it.
