i believe my xbox crashed because every game or cd i put in says disc may be dirty or damaged. i believe i might need a new dvd-rom.could someone please help me with my problem. if it is my dvd-rom can you give a link on where i can find one? your help will be considerable for me thank you.
your lense is probably dirty. My buddy's did the same untill he ran one of those lense cleaner discs. now it works perfectly.
I bet your lense is out of alignment then. Having it readjusted would be less expensive than buying a new drive, but you would most likely have to send it out for service (unless you could find a place to do it locally). That's about all the help I can offer. Good luck.
