as an update with this app',i have just burnt approx 15 audio cd's,and the speeds were set to max,should be x 52 (disc capabilities),the firmware i have seems to limit the setting to x32, however the results are not so consistent, they ranged from the highest of x16,and dropping to x 6,and this for cd's is not good, i will persevere with this,and see how it pans out, there seems to be a few bugs,i couldnt browse for the audio files,it wouldnt open them,as it wasnt seeing them, i had to open a separate window,and drag and drop each title in the app' i also have burnt 4 dvd's,also set to max(x 8),but achieved only x 6 other than that,no complaints regards
No sign of any coasters, or even any 'hanging' issues and BSOD's then. I am not encountering anything bad. Speed fluctuations, buffer fluctuations etc but good solid burns. Without using drivers etc, could this proggy be based on pure CPU/RAM power therefore, the issues with speeds?
