icon skinning

    is there a way that i can skin the default icons with photoshop or something, without downloading windows blinds or some other bs? i just want to know where the icon files are stored and how to apply them after i skin them. this is for XP home. thanks!!!!

    well if you go into the start menu, right-click on one of the programs, click properties, go to the shortcut tab up top, there's a button called "change icon". i guess if you click that button and have a picture that fits the size of the icon i guess it might work. never tried it though.
