As I searched thru my laptop the other day, I found 17 WMA tracks that have no ID3 info. Everything is unknown track from unknown album. There was also a 0 byte utnebite file, which I figured was an artifact or something from converting the files either to or from WMA. Is there any way to ID these tracks? The music is some nice neo-classical piano.

Firstly, WMA doesn't use ID3. It uses some other kind of tag. I'd try the 'auto-tag' function of WinAmp, mostly because that's what I have.

Have you 'looked at' the files with something that reads tag info for WMAs? Maybe what you want is already there.

Actually the suggestion about using WinAmp did the trick. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. You'd think, however, WMP would be able to read it's own stinking files for info.

    Maybe tunebite was the problem.
