IE will not load on my Desktop

    everytime i try and load my IE icon on my desktop it will not load
    just says page cannot be displayed!
    help please ?

    Check for spyware and viruses in your system these cause lots of problems relating to this..

    i have ran ad ware, microsoft one, and spyboy they found no spyware and also ran an anti-virus scan and nothing was found!

    any other ideas?
