Hey guys, just askin this question, since i always use these steps.. 1.) rip with smartripper 2.) dvd2one 3.) burn stomp recordmax

what if the dvd that is ripped is less than 4.36 or..it can be fitted to the dvd as is... is there really a need to run dvd2one..can i just burn it ... or does dvd2one do something that ripping doesn't..other than compress.

    thanks alot

if its a layer 1 which mean less than 4.36, the you ripp all the files then burn with desire software.

    No need to run dvd2one.

If the files are less than 4.37gb due to stripping out soundtracks, subtitles, etc. then you should use dvd2one to create the needed ifo, bup, vob files before burning.

If you ripped ALL files from the original dvd and it is less than 4.37gb then you can just burn these files as is, no need for dvd2one.
