If I bought a 3DS XL Right now...

    Would I be able to use the R4i Gold DELUXE and play my 3ds games off an SD card?

    you can ask the seller what the 3DS system before you buy
    R4i Gold DELUXE just support v4.1-v4.5
    so if the console system below v4.5, yes, it can work R4i Gold DELUXE
