If I have Nero 6 Ultra Edition, what do I need besides a Decrypter?

I'd like to hear how a DVD is burnt in just over three minutes.

    Consider this:

    2X - 30 min.

    4X - 15 min. = approx. 50% less time.

    8X - 8 min. = approx 45% less time.

    12X - 6 min. = approx 33% less time

16X is the highest safe rotational speed for DVD media and that will net two minutes saved at best considering the diminishing returns as speeds increase which would leave us at the 4 minute mark, not three.

The only possibility would be to code your own custom firmware to allow 16X burns on 8X media, modify the write strategy to cope with the higher speeds, modify the drive to spin the disc at 16X, hope the components are up to the task and hope it actually works.

Yeah right. I'd like to see those pictures.

I keep getting shut down by thunderstorms, on Tuesday lost power for almost 3 hours and today 30 minutes. I suppose it's the burden one has to suffer for living in a tropical climate. The burden of being a memeber of afterdawn is relearning how to use the shovel.

Even an Intel dual Pentium Xeon system, with two or more 74 gig raptors in a raid, and 4 gigs of CAS2 PC4000 memory overclocked, with the fastest laser eyed reader on Earth couldn't do that. Then again one does have to consider the ESP and Laser beamed eyes equation.

Not at all although, at -14 minutes, it was kinda slower than I expected ... but for 45TB I'm not gonna complain :p

Remember Praetor I used to live in London Ontario, not far from the University of Waterloo. That image was from the University of Wateroo's math Department. No I can't beat that and neither can most of us. What numbers were they crunching? Or what file/files was being transfered?

LOL You do know I posted that picture as a joke right? hehe (but on a more serious note, they are developing a massive 10Gigabit interuniversity network across Waterloo, Queens and Western ... and leaving out U of T :p)

We don't often get to gaze into anything that moves TB's with that kind of speed. Maybe I can set that as a goal along with "leaping tall buildings in a single bound."

I think Nephilium might have it beat though.

I can rip LOTR in 30 seconds and burn it in 2:05. Beat that :)

Next I'm going to try ripping the disc with my ESP powers and then burn it with lasers out of my eyes.

Of course these claims are unsubstantiated. LOL
