It seems your browser has cached a broken style sheet. Try re-loading the page by holding down the shift-key and clicking refresh. That should do the trick.

If that doesn't help, try clicking the following links to force the style sheets to be reloaded.

I found a good problem which needs fixing sometime.. It's impossible to post certain legal links like this one..

    http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Advanced-Vista-Codec-Package-Download-55586.html

then I thought about using {url}{/url} tags.. but..
    HIT ME

Now I thought of a way round this by using the code.. /code tags but...

    Code:
    http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Advanced-Vista-Codec-Package-Download-55586.html
Which is obviously wrong as nothing within {code} tags should be changed in any way... It's in the phpBB specifications.
I know it's a relatively new feature which not many people even know exists..

Then I thought.. why not try the shortened version that crops up when the original link is posted.. http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Ad...load-55586.html
Looks good... but doesn't link to the right page.
I have tested the link on one of my own sites running phpBB and it posts without any problems.

    First bug report?

I would suggest a fix, but I don't know exactly how AD is built.

aD's forums are built by myself from the ground up and they don't have anything to do with phpBB or any other forum software. I'm aware that the "auto-tagging" of certain words causes this type of problems in some rare instances and I already know a way to code myself around it -- when I have time :) Hopefully, once I get my current project launched, I'll have time to fix the UBB parsing element in a way that the situation you described wont happen in the future.

have all of the quote bugs been worked out?
I notice sometimes quotes power threw tags and it dose not also list the name of the person begin quoted.

Some quote bugs still remain. Most notably the following:

-multiple layers of quotes tend to cause problems (i.e. you're quoting a text that contains a quote, etc)

-is the quoted text ends with a tag or an URL, it most often wont work as expected

This all relates to the overhaul of UBB parsing part of the code, which I intend to focus on once we get the current projects live.

Ok so its a coming, good :p

IS there any chance the order of posts can be revered when you are writing a reply/quote, its helpful to look at the posts you are replying to soemtiems and having to scroll to the bottom of the page is annoying oh well opening a new tab in FF is about as good or better *L*

I know it's homebrew. ;-) Tis why I didn't be as bold as suggest any kind of fix.

No worries. I'm looking at a few of those url shortening softwares to see if any can be used as a "self-fix" for the time being.

Everything else is working well.. apart from the strange behaviour with quotes that zippy keeps noticing.
That's all to do with nested tags zippy. One of those things that happens from time to time. Woah.. even I get stumped by UBB tagging vagaries sometimes..
The trick is to preview a post first and see that it looks how you intend it to.

edit .. woo-hoo.. It's working through my home proxy server..
Now I can pack up.. go for a beer.. or 2.. and get off home.
Another day done.. just two more to go until my only day off in a week...

No, as I got the "whoops! there has been an error" page from aD, so something was wrong but maybe only temporary.
