OOOOOOOOKAY, I need some help. I was trying to use this

and while doing that I have action replay I have mechassault (got it when first came out) so I am reading the readme and realize I should probably backup my hd, so I remove it and hook it up to my computer, and well this is the first problem, computer doesn't recognize/see it. Now so I'm like ok f'it I'm going to just go ahead and install linux and see what happens, so I hook it back to my xbox copy over the linux install for mechassault, load up mechassault cd and I go to the singleplayer and go to the account "linux" I try to access it, and guess what, invalid something or other and I'm just like shit, I just wasted 2 hours. ANY ADVICE? thnx in advance.

 

Ok thats a problem take out ur hardrive and get a hammer. Now carefully hit the middle. MAKE SURE ITS THE MIDDLE. Then get a blowtorch and set get the thing really hot untill it serverely burns ur finger. The harddrive takes 30sec to cool down then u can pick it up and if the cover doesnt come off the harddrive u have to get torch and make it even hotter. I did this and it now works good. I have linux xp on it and upgraded from 65mb or ram which the xbob came with to 78 mb or ram. I downlaoded bf2 on it and i get a steady 15FPS.
